ANote Music hits record breaking semi-annual royalty distributions of €240,000 in H1 2024
The first half of the year sets a record breaking semi-annual performance for ANote Music, Europe's leading marketplace for buying, selling, and earning music royalties, with €240,000 in royalties distributed in the first six months of 2024, setting the total royalties distributed since platform’s launch to over €800,000.
Key results from the first six months of 2024 include:
- €240,000 in royalties distributed (+116% year-over-year)
- Over €100,000 distributed each quarter
- 42 royalty payouts (+45% year-over-year)
- One payout every five days on average
- Average annualised return: 11.94%

Over €100,000 distributed in each quarter: which were the top-performing months?
Record-breaking performance has been achieved both quarterly and monthly. With over €100,000 distributed each quarter and a peak of €137,000 in royalties paid in Q2 2024, the total royalties distributed during the first six months of the year were more than double those distributed in the first half of 2023.
The top-performing months in absolute terms were February and April, with 13 and 8 royalty distributions respectively, each exceeding €60,000. In relative terms, the top gainer compared to the previous year was the month of June, with royalties distributed being over seven times higher than June 2023, reaching over €40,000.
With a total of 42 royalty payouts on our platform in the first half of 2024 (13 more than H1 2023), we have paid royalties every five days on average.
